Rose and Stephen Stacey are a father and daughter team, both accomplished equestrian riders. Growing up on family cattle stations in Qld and always having been around horses as a way of life for several generations, so much is second nature when it comes to riding and training horses. Representing Australia as a Pony Clubber in Showjumping and eventing took Stephen to England where he was lucky en

ough to further his training with British triple Olympic gold medalist Richard Meade. Another major influence of his cross country riding over the years has been Lucinda Green. Both Rose and Stephen understand the importance of classical dressage training and have had regular lessons with Ron Patterson for many years. Ron's influence shows on the Stacey competition horses with there natural balance, strength and self carriage even at speed, without the need for severe bits and other nasty gadgets. Recently George Morris has had a major influence on Rose's riding style and training techniques. Having regular showjumping lessons with Russell Johnstone keeps our horses tuned and competition ready. With this background and understanding of equine needs, client horses are treated to the utmost care and attention.

CURRENT AVAILABILTIES
We have 2 spaces in seperate paddocks sharing with 1 other horse in each. Could possibly look into moving one of the current horses so that we could make it 2 spaces in together.

Shared paddock $80p/w per horse
OR
Private paddock for 2 horses $150p/w

DETAILS
- One paddock will be sharing with sweet 3yr old WB mare - it has a shelter and is approx 5 acres
- 2nd paddock will be sharing with a quiet/playful TB gelding - no shelter but plenty of tree coverage and is approx 8 acres
- Both include one feed per day in PM (feed not included)
- Parking space for float
- Spot to put feed & tack in stables
- Access to all facilities

NEED TO KNOW
- Horse must be good in shared paddocks (needs to get along with current horse)
- If horses don't swap feeds we can feed there normal feeds but if they do please be open to changing feed so both are on the same (will negotiate this if it comes to it)
- Agistee expected to keep paddock clean

Coco retied sound from racing and has been with me since February this year. Coco is a very brave and willing mare with ability to add, she has 3 even paces and a rocking horse canter. Coco shows ability over a fence and would be best suited in a competitive eventing home.

She has been on a trail ride around Mt Macedon and was perfectly behaved. She has also gone to a showjumping competition and jumped around a 65cm course and tide up at the float all day like she had done it 100 times before.

Coco is always a pleasure to have around and always tries her best for you. Easy to S,F,C etc. Will only be sold to the best of homes.

Savvy is a well bred warmblood x by a world cup stallion Warrego Sandon. She has three nice paces and has nice technique over a jump. She has competed up to 1.05m with plenty of scope to go higher. Savvy is a well mannered horse who is quiet under saddle although she does get keen when jumped so will need a competent rider. She doesn’t like touching rails and is very quick on her feet. Was a great weekend at Wandin for the Australian Eventing Championships. My stead the mighty Bellhaven Atticus performed very well finishing 6th in the CCI2* Class. With 2 years since his last 2 star start I could not have been happier.
Takes a handy horse to jump clear and get time in star classes at Wandin
I think I've got a good one here🏇🏇😁😁
As alaways, A great event Wandin Comittee.
Big thank you to Rose Stacey for looking after Atticus on a daily basis and plaiting him.
