Great little spot to camp for a couple days. Use it as a base to explore Broome & surrounds & don’t forget to check out the Willie Creek Pearl Farm while you’re in the area.

📍 Willie Creek, Dampier Peninsula

‘What a start to our Dampier Peninsula leg. We didnt stop at Willie Creek when we were here 3 years ago so we had to pop in this time round. And how spectacularly beautiful is it here, the water, the drop off, the beach, the creek- all of it was just so beautiful. We fished, we sat around the camp fire, looked for mudcrabs and just relaxed. It was the perfect stay.

A place we will definitely be visiting again.’

CANAL CREEK / OLD TELE TRACK

On our way to the tip, we swung by some parts of the OTT to see what it’s like since we did it 6 years ago! Palm Creek’s changed a little 😅 Max loved his refreshing dip at Canal Creek 🌞🛻👙🐶

‘Cant believe we nearly missed this place!!

📍Lucky Bay, Kalbarri

Cruised straight past Kalbarri on our way to our Exmouth bookings and werent planning on coming back that far down. Holy sh*t I would have been annoyed, this place is 👌🏼

12 nights of bliss, plenty of laughs, endless good times, stunning sunsets & a 10/10 good time with a good crew!

The longest stint we have done in one place since leaving on our lap. The kinda place that if the weather was on point and the fish were biting you’d have no reason to leave.‘

I don’t reckon we’d want to leave either 🐾💕

Have you been to Yanerbie Sandhills??
We know a dog or two who might fancy a bit of sand-surfing 🐾

📸

📍Yanerbie Sand Hills, SA Eyre Peninsula

Sand dunes for days 🤩

Located 20 minutes south of Streaky Bay off the Westall Way loop.

⚠️ Heads up the tracks in are quite tight. So don’t take the tracks in unless you’re ok with pinstripes.

You can park out near the road and walk in.🚶

Don’t forget your boogie boards 🤟

So much fun 🙌🏻

This beautiful family are currently caravanning around Australia with their assistance dog in tow. Check out their visit to the Grampians!

‘The GRAMPIANS…

We were told to stay clear as they have been burning since December, we are SO happy we made contact with the locals at Halls Gap to know we would be safe and they would LOVE to have us come and support their community.

We are SO pleased we came, there still so much to explore!

Little list of what we did we stayed 4 nights at Halls Gap (amazing facilities - pool, sauna and great location)

Photos:
1. Driving into Halls Gap was very surreal seeing the force of these fires, but there was hope as we continued on with new sprouts spreading far and wide through the bush. It’s incredible to see nature begin to recover so quickly.
2. Venus Baths - magic place for the family and only a short walk.
3. We continued on from Venus Baths to complete Chatauqua Peak which was quite a rock scramble, Matt made it to the peak, I didn’t as she was almost a vertical rock climb (the top is not very kid friendly).
4. The Pinnacle and Grand Canyon walk - this was magic 4.2km, it just got better and better. Can you guess what the rock formation is?
5. Day 4 we rested the bodies at Lake Bellfield and we got to share the lake with a couple of Emus which was such a treat.

If you’re tossing up whether to go to the Grampians or not, you should most certainly go!

So blessed our assistance dog can come along and support us too!

‘Believe it or not, we spotted Nessie on our way back from South Australia! (It’s actually the Loch-Eel monster) 😂 at Lake Bumbunga, Lochiel. The salt lake is also known to change colours depending on the time of year and salinity levels of the water.

Harley and Bronti were only slightly confused as to what it was 😂🐾’
