🐾 Obedience Training Intake – Spots Available! 🐾

We have a new obedience intake starting tomorrow night, and due to a few late withdrawals, a limited number of spots have become available.

If you’re interested in joining, please make sure you can commit to the following:

• Training is held at 6:30pm on Wednesday nights
• Total cost is $110 (includes joining fee + 10 weeks of training)

Sadly our first night of obedience training tonight the 25th of Feb has to be cancelled due to the weather.

To everyone who has contacted us during our break, we will be working to answer everyone in the following week.

We are all excited to be on the main field this Friday for the Nowra Show starting at 5pm. Then Saturday on the lower field through out the day.
Come cheer on our old pros and new dogs doing agility and scent work!!!

📣 Notice to the Public – Shoalhaven Dog Training Club

For the next few weeks, Shoalhaven Dog Training Club will be training on the upper field at the Nowra Showground. The lower field is currently closed while it’s being repaired following the circus.

🐾 Training Times:
We train Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings, and on some Sundays.
Our club has the grounds officially booked, just like other community sports such as football and cricket.

We kindly ask that members of the public keep their dogs on lead and away from our training area during these times. Recently, we’ve had a few off-leash dogs run into classes, which can disrupt training sessions and cause safety issues for both dogs and handlers.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation while we continue to train and support our local dog community 🐶💚

🌟 Beginner Obedience – New Intake Starting Soon! 🌟

A few spots have just opened up in our Beginner Obedience class starting Wednesday, 24th September!

Classes run on Wednesday evenings and are a great way to build a strong bond with your dog while learning the foundations of training in a fun and supportive environment. The joining fee is just $60. (Please note: we don’t offer daytime classes.)

AGM
It is that time of year again. The clubs AGM will be holding place on the 19th of September 2025 at 7pm. It will be held at the club house. We really do need as many members as we can to come and help pitch in to run our club. All positions will be open and listed below. We very much hope to see you all

Obedience training is cancelled today the 20th of Aug due to the weather and ground conditions. We hope to see you all next week.

Today in the pouring rain the club held its annual Obedience and Rally-o trial.
Massive thank you to the judges and all our members who came out and stood in the rain to judge and steward the event. Some members where in the rain from 7am until 4pm.
Thank you too all the competitors who traveled to our small club for the day and made it a fun day for everyone.
