Our new Wave Boxes are designed to house a wavemaker inside a specially engineered chamber, creating a true wave formation throughout your aquarium. This mimics the natural currents and surge patterns found on real coral reefs, helping promote healthier coral growth and more natural fish behaviour.

Introducing our new Prototype Reef Wave Boxes

Designed to create a more natural wave and flow pattern throughout your reef tank while being far more energy efficient and cost effective compared to traditional wavemakers.

Built from durable 6mm black acrylic and currently paired with a Neo style wavemaker while we continue testing and refining the design. Early results have been extremely promising with strong natural movement and excellent tank circulation.

• Improved flow distribution throughout the tank
• More efficient and cost saving compared to standard wavemakers

Swapped out the original return valve on my Gen 1 Re**er 350 for the new Red Sea Reef Gate… and honestly, I should’ve done this sooner.

The stock valve? Let’s just say it had two settings:
• Niagara Falls
• Bone dry

The new Reef Gate is smooth, precise, and actually lets me fine tune the overflow without turning it into a full-time job.

Install was straightforward — power down, swap it over, tighten the unions, dial it in… done. Now the tank is running silent and stable like it should have from day one.

If you’ve got a Gen 1 and your overflow sounds like it’s auditioning for a waterfall documentary, this upgrade is 100% worth it.
