When it’s hot and im tired, the feet are like concrete and it’s only 7am - there is NOTHING that makes me feel better than pulling a new heller excel legend out of its sleeve. Keep your icey pop. I’ll have a new rasp thanks. Melts through feet like a hot spoon in ice cream. 💅🏻

Hospital plate fabricated for a horse that had an abscess that had turned septic. Applying a St Croix light Steel shoe! Jason welded a bar insert and also welded the toe of shoe to create more surface area for the plate to sit on, this also allowed it easier to punch and tap the threads for the bolts. MUSTAD HOOF CUSHION ZNO 25 for the packing and 🔨 Nailed on with MUSTAD FJ 1

Home from the UK and straight back into it, Harriet using a Mustad Equilibrium Air with a little more lateral to give coverage to heel whilst still being able to apply a supportive shoe.

Mustad comfort mix hoof cast, comfort mix hoof glue and dental impression material for our laminitic friend Monty.

It was the unexpected last job of the day and unfortunately I didn’t have enough stock left to get the job done there and then. To keep him supported overnight, I wrapped his feet in duct tape with the dental impression set underneath, then came back the next day to replace it with a more permanent package.

Harriets favourite pairing right now is a Mustad Equilibrium Air and a Mustad concave nail to match. The shoe provides coverage exactly where I want it and the concave nail sits flush so it doesn’t interfere with the mechanics of the shoe when it’s on the ground. It’s my go-to combo!
