Yes I am normally closed on Saturdays but this Saturday the 8th March I will be open with only 2 appointments available.

If you can’t make it back to pick up your dog when the groom has been completed then please do say so when booking the appointment to make sure I am available to stay with your dog until you can collect.

Today I had a lady drop her dog off to be groomed, once the dog was 20 mins off being ready I messaged the lady to let her know the dog would be ready in 20 mins. She sent a message back to say she couldn’t pick the dog up until 11:30am as she was in a meeting. She didn’t let me know she had a meeting and may not make it back on time for when the dog would be ready. The client didn’t reply to my messages to let her know I had to leave home at 10:30am and I had let her know I can wait 20 mins for her to come pick up the dog and if not then I will have to leave her dog in the carport until I get back home for her to collect the dog. The dog was left with a bowl of water and the aircon on and it was raining so it wasn’t a hot day for the dog to be left. 35 mins after I had left the house the lady showed up to my house and proceeded to break into the house through the kids bathroom and walked through my house to the carport. She then opened the garage door and picked up her dog then closed the carport door and ran out holding her dog and climbed over the gate put her dog in the car and left. To top it off the client also hasn’t paid for the dog to be groomed.
The client also said to me on the phone do I have a window open so she can let herself in and proceed to tell me that she is a real estate agent and she won’t steal anything.

I know I shouldn’t have left the dog in the carport and left but I had somewhere I needed to be and I had told the client that but chose to ignore me until she was almost at my house. The client has been reported to the police.
