Asha visited us for the second time today and worked like a veteran hydro-pro following directions from her owner exactly. She is a Belgian Shepherd and doesn’t have an injury just trialling the hydrotherapy experience to maintain her fitness and conquer a challenge and her score 💯

This elderly gent is Toby who is in rehab after major spinal surgery to alleviate IVDD. Toby has been working hard with his hooman doing his exercises and hydro but sometimes there are hiccups when the dogs forget that they have a healing wound and that they aren’t a spring chicken and I think Toby may have had one or more of those moments this week 🥲 judging by the way he is holding his spine. Hope you are feeling a bit better soon Toby ❤️🐾

You may remember Frankie from an earlier post. He just nailed today’s session even with the extra challenges of maintaining balance when the annoying Hydrotherapist keeps varying the water depth. Frankie is a good worker and applies himself to the jobs and it is certainly paying dividends he has made fantastic progress ❤️

Meet Bobby who is having a bit of a tough time with hip dysplasia 😢 To make matters worse Bobby is having big feelings about all these weird experiences and environments that his rehabilitation team are exposing him to and sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming so what we do after his session is spend some time getting treats and playing with the balls which balances things a little☄️🐾🐕

Update on Rajah’s fight against IVDD. Last session he limbered up his joints and muscle mass in deeper water and got his troublesome left hind leg working with the buoyancy helping with carrying the load. We then slowly decreased the water level and he absolutely smashed it! His owner does provide incentive payments of dried beef liver from the front of the tank and this is a vital element of keeping Rajah motivated 🤣 They are a winning team and a pleasure to work with

Well this is the little puddle of chocolate, Frankie, and he blew me away today. He has a great work ethic and has only had 3 hydrotherapy treatments and is making amazing progress. This doesn’t happen often but he has grit, determination and doting pawrents. 🩷 conquers

I had the pleasure today of meeting the gorgeous little puddle of milk chocolate 😋 despite not being able to use his hind legs since November and it being the first time in the treadmill he blew us away and strutted his stuff. Amazing work Frankie 🥰
