Signing off today with our handsome Roomy, Roomy is super duper affectionate and adores smooches (both getting them and giving smooches to his human), He is still searching for his forever home!

Our gates have now closed for this weekend, thank you to anyone who adopted/surrendered, donated, had a meet and greet with one of our beautiful pets or came in to visit, we'll see you all on Monday with some new and some familiar faces!

Good-Afternoon everyone, our gates have opened for this weekend!

Apologies again for the late post as we've had another very busy Saturday morning, we've had a few new faces join us today thank you for your patience as we work on their profiles and they settle into refuge life. We've also had a few departures including Chubs!

We are also so happy to announce that Chubs has been adopted! Chubs is off to a new family who knows everything there is to know about owning a rottie, we just know Chubs is going to have so much fun on his new farm with his new daschund brother!

We are open until 2pm for all your adoption/surrender needs, meet and greets, donations, general pet enquiries and more.

Meet Sarabi and Nala, a beautiful pair of bonded sisters who are searching for their forever home together. As sisters from the same litter, these Lion King queens have shared their lives side by side and we are hoping to keep this royal duo together.
Nala is the more outgoing of the two and is always ready to greet you for some affection. Loving and friendly, she has proudly claimed the couch as her kingdom and can often be found lounging there, soaking up all the comforts of home.
Sarabi is a little quieter and prefers to gently observe the world around her before joining in. She is incredibly loving and affectionate, with a particular fondness for curling up on your bed for a nap.
While they can be a little unsure around dogs, they get along well with other cats. They aren’t overly interested in young children, so a home with older children who respect her independent nature would suit them best.
Both girls are affectionate and enjoy human company.
What truly makes them special is the bond they share with each other. During their time at the Refuge, they have shown us just how much comfort and reassurance they bring one another. They sleep together, eat together and are never far apart. Whether they are relaxing side by side or offering each other support when they need it most, their connection is something truly special.
These two queens may be independent, but they are always there for one another, and we would love to see them continue their reign together in a loving forever home.

Our adoption fee includes worming, desexing, microchipping and one vaccination.

Meet Chubs, our 8‑month‑old Rottweiler x who thinks every human, dog and child is his new best friend.
He is bouncy, silly, affectionate and absolutely lives for being told he’s a good boy.

Chubs is great with other dogs, loves company, rides beautifully in the car and walks well on the lead (even if he forgets how big he is when he gets excited!).

A doggy buddy would be a dream for this social sweetheart but he is just as happy entertaining himself, Chubs is ready to make your days brighter like he does ours.

We started the day with an adoption, so it’s only fair we end the day with one too.
A huge thank you to Mayor George Seymour - Fraser Coast for helping our beautiful boy Kody find his forever home. His new owner saw the Mayor’s video and simply couldn’t wait any longer to meet him.
They came in, spent time with Kody and decided he wasn’t spending another night in a kennel.
Off they went beginning their new lives together.

We would love to share a quick Jim the ginger kitten update...
Jim is still very vocal and has discovered how much fun it is to play in his water bowl, splashing, pawing and making a delightful mess.
He has become a champion climber (his families curtains know all about it!) and rotates through every level of the Eiffel Meower for his naps.
He has grown so much since we last saw him but he is just as handsome as we remember ❤️
