A huge shoutout to our amazing clients, Keira the Great Dane X and Bear the sweet and affectionate kitty! 🐾 Aunty Sandy had a wonderful time taking care of these two last weekend. Keira went for walks with Aunty Sandy & Bear tried a dozen times to escape because that's what he likes to do. Unfortunately Aunty Sandy wouldn't be in the fun & actually let him 😉Keira was a real sweetheart who loves attention, pats and playing with her ball.

What a weekend of visits with some of our favourite regulars!

We caught up with Rox and Frank, two of our favorite regulars. Rox gave Aunty Sandy a little scare by sleeping in the sun instead of giving her usual enthusiastic greeting the moment she arrived and made her wonder where she was, while Frank was his usual sweet self lapping up the pats and being a smoochy kitty. 💙💜

This little shadow is one of our favorite regulars. She loves a good brush session and will happily flop right at your feet until she gets all the love she deserves. We can't get enough of this sweet face! 🥰

A Heartfelt Goodbye to Our Beloved Barney 🐾04/07/2011 ~ 13/07/2025💔
Today, our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to a very special member of the Urban Tailz family, Barney the Labrador. Barney turned 14 on July 4th, and while it's part of our job to say goodbye to incredible pets, this one hits particularly hard. It never gets easier, and Barney's passing has been the toughest of them all.
Barney faced his challenges, including a mast cell tumour and spine issues, with incredible bravery and an unwavering smile. He was, quite simply, the happiest, most lovable, and easy-going pup you could ever meet. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him absolutely adored him.
Over the last 18 months, I had the privilege of walking Barney five days a week, helping him keep his back legs moving. Every single day, watching him run out to greet me with the biggest smile and a wagging tail was truly the highlight of my day. Those memories will forever be cherished.
Urban Tailz extends our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Barney's loving humans. He gave you 14 beautiful years filled with joy, love and devotion, and we know his loss is incredibly difficult, and will be felt for a long time to come.
Barney has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, where he's reunited with his feline sister Daisy and feline brother Storm, finally pain-free and chasing balls. He can now indulge in every delicious, forbidden human snack his Labrador heart ever yearned for because, let's be honest, that's what every good Labrador truly dreams of. No more rules, just endless treats!. Run free, sweet Barney! You'll be deeply missed. ❤️💙

Aunty Sandy had a wonderful time house sitting the delightful Alfie the Cavoodle!

Alfie is such a bright boy. He was always ready for his daily walks, and he loved playing with his toys and solving puzzles. When it was time to relax, he became the ultimate lap dog—so cuddly and affectionate. 🥰💙

A true TV connoisseur, Alfie enjoyed watching cartoons (he wasn't a fan of the ads, though!). He also show off to Aunty Sandy, with the cutest high five! Check out the photos.

Thank you, Alfie, for being such a beautiful boy. I miss you already! 🐾

Here at Urban Tailz, we're beyond proud to share an incredible story about one of our star house sitters, Nicole!

Nicole recently took on a long house sit caring for Chico, a Chihuahua recovering from surgery, and Stella, a Staffy. While Nicole provided exceptional post-op care for Chico, his recovery took an unexpected turn. Nicole's quick thinking and sharp eye immediately noticed changes in Chico's wound, prompting an urgent visit to not one, but two different vets.

Her swift action was crucial! Thanks to Nicole, Chico received emergency surgery and stayed at the vet for specialized care. During this stressful time, Nicole continued to care for Stella, who was truly missing her little brother (and her mum and dad!). Nicole showered Stella with extra love, cuddles, and attention, ensuring she felt safe and comforted.
Now that Chico & Stella's mum & dad are home, they have enlisted Nicole's help in Chico's recovery at home.
We can't thank Nicole enough for her compassion, professionalism, and quick thinking in a challenging situation. We are so lucky to have such a dedicated and extraordinary individual on our team! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
