Groomed this amazing Pekinese recently. This breed and others like Pomeranian's can be prone to Alopecia, so I am very careful not to put the blade too close to their skin. This dog was brushed, scissored off, then lightly gone over with a #5 yellow comb clip. the comb clip protects the skin from direct exposure to the blade. I also used an Oatmeal shampoo to nourish the skin folicles.

Update on me. I'm still feeling tingles and itches from the shingles, some post herpetic neuralgia pain at night, but I am back on light duties so I can take in one or two small dog grooms but no more at this stage. Please book in advance as I have limited intake right now.
