Let's talk collars 🐶

If your dog has a collar on daily, especially boundary/bark collars, Please, Please, Please take it off and check their skin daily!

With the hot humid weather I often see skin irrigation from collars and those prongs on the shock collars can do some really serious damage 💔

Hail the owners who train their dogs!!

6 weeks ago I had my first visit with Millie, a 4mth old Cocker Spaniel. She was so terrified of the sound of the clippers that even doing a hygiene clip was a mission. I mentioned this to her mum and suggested running an electric toothbrush, hair clippers etc near her and rewarding her to desensitise her to the sound.
6 weeks later I return to complete a full groom (secretly worried about how this was going to go down 🙈). Her amazing mum did exactly as I asked and was excited to show me she can sit the toothbrush on her ears, feet anywhere without a single reaction 😀

Millie had the most relaxed groom. It was a positive experience because of that training and I'm sure she will look forward to her grooms for years to come!
