This is our latest Skalawag litter who are out of Kaia (Ardchattan Sweet Pea) and by "River" (Grand Ch. Jaksonhills Cry Me a River). This is Kaia’s first litter. She is a smaller but stylish bitch that has 5 rather chubby healthy pups who have been vaccinated, microchipped, have been wormed regularly, Vet checked, DNA tested and are clear of all known hereditary traits by parentage. Kaia has been such a good mother; having been weaned, the pups are crate trained, all have independent personalities and have inherited the best from both parents. They have been the easiest litter to have in the house, are very social and are now available to their forever homes.

This is "Bella" (Skalawag Prosecco Bellini 3100505146) who is out of Brandy (Wandji Brandy on Ice) and by "River" (Grand Ch. Jaksonhills Cry Me a River). Bella has returned from what was to be a potential show home, unshown, due to unforeseen circumstances and no fault of her own. She would love a forever home. She has a pleasant personality, is well socialised with both people and other dogs, both large and small having participated regularly at Mutt Strutt, a weekly social walking group. She is vaccinated, microchipped and has been wormed regularly. She is clear of all known hereditary traits by parentage. Skalawag's Brandy & River's Kids

Our Skalawag babies out of Brandy (Wandji Brandy On Ice) by River (Grand Ch. Jaksonhills Cry Me A River) this time we have continued with the alcohol theme, names pending.

The two boys are now at their new forever homes. Johnny Walker Black is with Chris and Melanie and Jim Bean is being totally spoilt with the Vokoun family in Melbourne. Our sweet girl Honey Mead is full of personality, still entertaining and/or terrorising all at home. She is the action girl of the litter yet so loves a cuddle.

Pixie's 2026 Litter

Pixie (Skalawag Oh Hello) has delivered 4 rather special pups to River (Grand Ch. Jaksonhills Cry Me A River). She has had 2 females and two males. One female is a black tri bob tail and one black and white with a long tail. One male is a black tri with a long tail and a black and white bobtail. Pixie is a full sister to Queenie (Oh Wow Shes A Redhead) whose liver pups by River, Mary (Skalawag Proud Mary) and Frankie (Skalawag River Man) from last year are both doing so well in the show ring, both having won best of breed and Mary having won 2 Puppy in Group with limited showing.

Skalawag's First Litter for 2026

Out of Brandy (Wandjii Brandy On Ice) by River (Jaksonhills Cry Me A River) we were lucky enough to get four lovely pups, all have long tails. There are two male puppies, one Black & White and one Tan and White, two female, one Black Tri and one Tan & White. This is our second litter by River and he is proving to be an outstanding sire for both Skalawag and Jaksonhills.
