Are pet cats really one of the biggest threats to Australian wildlife?

Our recent research is challenging a widely held assumption - and it’s generating an important conversation.

Across 11 years of NSW wildlife rescue records, 52,475 endangered animals were found and brought to wildlife carers. Cat attacks accounted for just 0.6% of those rescues.

Far more animals were rescued because of threats including entanglement, road collisions, extreme heat, habitat loss and displacement, and being orphaned.

That doesn’t mean cats never harm wildlife. It means that if we genuinely want to protect threatened species, we need to look at the evidence and focus our efforts on the threats causing the greatest harm.

Sweet Caroline needs a home or a ' foster with a view to adopt' foster home without dogs.

She is the sweetest young lady and totally loves snuggling in for scritches and naps whenever you. sit down.

Sweet Caroline came into care after being attacked by dogs after she went exploring in their yard. So even though she loves coming out for attention, she really doesn't like my dogs.
They are very gentle, but Sweet Caroline isn't so sweet to them.

If you need a snuggle bug in your home, Sweet Caroline is the girl for you.

She is around 6 months old and will be getting her vetwork completed as soon as I have funds available.

More cats and kittens sterilised and not adding to the problem

I get to spend time with this beautiful lady most days while her mum is at work.
Today she took an unauthorised swim in a very muddy puddle, so then we had to visit the dogwash on the way home.
She is the sweetest girl and i love her so much.

All fund raised by TLC Pet care goes towards helping me help more kitty's.
