Founded in 1976 by veterinarian Martyn Powell, Western Namoi Veterinary Services was built on a foundation of exceptional animal care, professionalism, and genuine commitment to the local community.

Martyn quickly earned a reputation as an outstanding vet whose knowledge, compassion, and dedication left a lasting impression on generations of clients.

To this day, clients still share stories of Martyn’s remarkable skill, tireless work ethic, and the difference he made to the lives of both animals and their owners. Alongside Martyn, his wife Marion and their children were valued members of the community, providing unwavering support and contributing to the strong relationships that helped shape the practice's success.

🐂This cow was treated for a vaginal prolapse; a condition where tissue protrudes from the reproductive tract, commonly seen in late pregnancy.

👩‍⚕️Prompt veterinary treatment is important to prevent injury, infection, and complications for both cow and potential calf.

💪Happy to report this girl was repaired successfully by Dr Alison and is recovering well.
