We’re seeing so many tick paralysis cases already, please make sure your dogs and cats are up to date with reliable tick prevention - yes, even indoor pets! Ticks will hitch a ride on people, other pets, or washing.

We recommend a trusted vet product like NexGard or Bravecto, as well as daily tick searches.

⚠️ Tick paralysis is an emergency - despite treatment it can be fatal, so prevention is essential!

Hello Narooma!
Starting this morning, we are open again on Saturdays from 9am to 12:30pm. Come and see us if you have any problems today. We do have some space for routine appointments for vaccinations etc so if you are having trouble getting in during the week, let us know and we will try to help.
Our emergency service outside these hours is still very limited so give us a call if you are worried about your pet on Saturday mornings rather than waiting until later in the weekend.

Ticks are out and about!

Many animals don’t make it - paralysis stops them being able to walk, swallow and breathe and despite our best efforts they succumb.
Please help us see less heartbreaking tick cases this year. Use regular, high quality tick treatment for your pets. Nexgard and Bravecto are the two products we recommend. You can get chewable, spot-ons and even a yearly injection.
