Sadly, we are aware of several local grooming salon closures recently, which means many pet owners are now searching for new groomers for their beloved dogs.

While we would love to help everyone, we are currently booked to capacity, and there is a reason for that.

Professional grooming is not simply “washing dogs.” It takes years of hands-on experience, formal training, dangerous dog handling knowledge, behavioural understanding, patience, safety awareness, and ongoing education to groom animals correctly and compassionately. At The Hound Shed, we have invested heavily into our skills through grooming school, advanced handling training, natural therapies, and years working with dogs of all temperaments and needs.

Choosing a groomer should never come down to convenience alone!!!

Dogs thrive on trust, routine, and familiarity. Constantly dragging your dog from groomer to groomer to suit schedules, pricing, or personal convenience can create anxiety, behavioural issues, grooming aversions, and stress for your pet.
