Cat's Cradle Boarding Cattery Calling all cats! Come and holiday with us at our beautiful and serene cats only retreat. Located in Narangba Valley just 10 mins from the highway. No traffic.

Services
Our purpose built cattery, which is fully insulated and air-conditioned, has been designed for the maximum comfort, security, health and wellbeing of our feline guests. We offer a variety of spacious, individual rooms, some with a secure, private courtyard. All rooms are decorated in pastel tones and have space for exercise. All guests can relax and enjoy watching the bush wildlife from t

heir personal window. We play soothing music throughout the day; or for those who need more socialising or stimulation, they can join us in the office and 'help' with the filing. Variety of spacious individual suites. Modern, bright and airy, all with personal window.
12 suites with own outdoor courtyard looking out over gardens. Impeccably clean and secure. Fully insulated and air-conditioned. Split-level accomm with choice of elevated sleep areas. Choice of plush bedding, toys and scratch poles. Lots of cuddles and attention
Quiet, serene outlook. Rates:
Garden Single Room: $27/day
Family room: $49/day (2 cats sharing)

Patio single room: $32/day
Family room $59/day

Surcharges apply over Easter and Christmas.

Well it was quite the eventful afternoon getting this little one rescued inbetween customers! Just as I was heading out my back door to head to the cattery this afternoon I heard the birds going off and terrible squawking, then I saw this poor Tawny frogmouth being carried away in the air by some magpies. They then dropped it from a height of at least 10 metres. I was able to get out to it before it was attacked again and pop a towel over it and transport it into our outdoor enclosure. I’m unsure if it has an injured wing but it had a really nasty gash right across the back of its neck. Our CCTV has captured some kind of bird of prey trying to get at it whilst it was in the enclosure so presumably that’s what caused its injuries before the magpies tried to take it away. There’s a lot of feathers everywhere! A huge thank you to Wildlife Rescue Queensland for coming out and transporting it to Australia zoo. Fingers crossed it survives. Poor darling would have met a very slow and painful end if it had been left out there defenceless.
