Super proud to have this young Stallion back up his efforts from Berragoon Campdraft, Challange and Sale at the Lockington & Districts Campdraft smashing another 93 points out in the Dry Work, (backing up his 93.5 at Berragoon). And to follow up with a 89 in the Wet Work giving him and OVERALL SCORE OF 181🔥🔥

This young 2yo gelding is bred super well for campdrafting and has a heap of raw, natural ability to chase a cow.

Broken in during the month of October, he was exposed to a manner of different environments which he handled super well.
Including moving stock, he has headed off farm for a challange, sales for exposure, and campdrafts, where he was putting back cattle like he’d done it before.

He’s since had the month of November off on a break, and was brought back into work 8 weeks before the sale to slowly work out his feet and how to chase a cow. He’s been exposed to cattle and buffalo and has been unfazed during the whole process.

By super naturally talented sire in “Black Magic” this young gelding holds the best traits from his sire. Super natural on his feet and super balanced, he picks his flies super easy and flows around in his turns. Just a super balanced gelding all round.

Dam was unperformed however granddam is a multiple Campdraft winning mare by Oriley, piloting the juveniles most weekends.

🔆Berragoon Campdraft, Challange and Sale🔆

Super proud of how the horses held themselves over the whole weekend.
Highlight was having Berragoon Lure place 5th in the 6 & Over Challenge after having three years off with stud duties.
Also had a couple of good scores in the Incentive Draft and Open draft respectively.

Berragoon Beat’s effort on the weekend was also unwavering with a 93.5 in the Dry Work of the Challange good enough for 2nd place but just had no luck in the camp drafting on the weekend.

Thanks to Heath & Krissy for sending me these horses and believing in the plan we put in place
