Yarraman Park, an 88 acre horse property nestled in the quiet fleurieu peninsuler country side of Nangkita just 9km east of Mt Compass, specialises in the quality care of racehorses & horses of all types. We are conveniently located only a short drive to other surrounding townships with Strathalbyn a 25mins drive, Goolwa 20mins, Victor Harbor 25mins or even McLaren Vale is just 30min drive away.

Being surrounded by Cox’s Scrub on one side & a section of Kuitpo Pine Forest on the other, our property is picturesque, remains cooler in the summer months yet not too wet in winter, with our free drainage sandy soils providing ample ground feed all year round as the individual yards are partially irrigated if required. Our choice of spelling agistment ranges from 3acre individual paddocks up to a 40 acre shared paddock if required. All paddocks provide shade & shelter all year round with irrigation in the summer time

Well we saw one of our old retired spellers off today.....will only be a short move in the end as his owners sister has just bought down the road & he will get a paddock to call home!!!!! :)

Taking reasonable offers on all the horses that are for sale at Yarraman Park as 6 in work at this time of the year is just shear madness on my behalf but I have that problem of not being able to say no to taking them on & I won't be able to spend enough time with all of them to bring out the best in them.....would rather sell them a bit cheaper knowing that they will get the work they need!!!! :)
