At Top Dog Bath & Groom, we just want to take a moment to say thank you. The support we’ve received over the years truly means more to us than words can explain.
Behind this business is just the two of us — a young family, 32 and 29, raising 7 kids aged 1 to 13. We started Top Dog because we saw a real gap in our area for quality dog grooming at fair, competitive prices. Our pricing isn’t random — it’s based on NSW averages, while still making sure we deliver the level of care your dogs deserve.
But more than anything, we built this business for our family.
To be present. To be there when it matters. To raise our kids, not just work around them.
The reality is, with 9 people under one roof, life can be unpredictable. Things don’t always go to plan, and sometimes we have to adjust quickly to make sure everyone’s needs are met. It’s not always easy — but we stand tall and keep pushing forward.
To help us continue improving our service and communication, we’ve recently welcomed a third team member to Top Dog. Their role is to handle appointments, enquiries, and scheduling, allowing us to stay focused on grooming while making sure every customer gets a timely response. We’re really excited about what this means for the future of our business and the level of service we can provide.
We know we’re not your typical big, brick-and-mortar operation (yet). That is absolutely the goal as our kids get older. Right now, we’re just doing everything we can to balance growing a business while being the parents our kids need.
To those of you who have supported us, shown patience, and understood our situation — we genuinely appreciate you. You’re the reason we’re still here, doing what we love.
