Today is filled with happy and sad tears as we say goodbye to our beautiful and beloved Head Nurse, Becky. Becky has been apart of VetMD for 8 years! Starting off hydrobathing dogs to getting her Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2019.
Becky is the one behind the social media posts, the phones, puppy pre school, emails, posters.. the list goes on! She was also our personal tech support when we all look at the printer puzzled as to why it is alarming at us, again..
But most importantly she is one incredible nurse! Caring for EVERY single one of her patients big or small like they are her own to gold standard, every moment of every day.
Becky is moving onwards and upwards in her career into the specialist field, although you won’t see her here, if you’re heading to the specialists clinics for any reason you might catch her on the other end!
As much as we are all very sad, there are many tears of joy and excitement for her. Becky we miss you already but are so proud of you and look forward to seeing your career grow.

To ensure the safety and comfort of all pets, please keep your dog on a secure leash at all times and maintain a safe distance from other animals in our waiting area. While we strive to make every visit as stress-free as possible, the environment can sometimes be overwhelming for some pets. Even if your dog enjoys meeting new friends, not all pets are as comfortable with close interactions.

Dr. Charlotte impressed us during her fifth-year placement at our clinic, and we are thrilled to have her as part of our family after her graduation in 2023. With her passion for avian and exotic medicine, she continually seeks to enhance the standards of care we provide, ensuring our clients and their pets receive the very best in compassion and expertise.

We welcomed Dr. Bianca in mid-2024 and feel fortunate to collaborate with her. Although she is with us only part-time, she maximizes her time to ensure every patient receives personalized and attentive care. Dr. Liam has been the heart and soul of our practice since 2019. His warm smile and compassionate approach not only uplift our team but also provide comfort to every pet and their owners. VETMD-MURRUMBA DOWNS VET

Located north of Brisbane in the Moreton Bay Region of Queensland, we welcome pets and pet parents from all suburbs.

Once an open plan Network Video store, the VetMD clinic is now a fully-equipped and practically laid out veterinary haven. We built this clinic, and wrote our policies with very specific missions in mind - to provide a fresh approach to veterinary care. A few ways we are demonstrating our mission includes offering separate dog and cat waiting areas, dedicated species consultation rooms, private grieving and visiting room, separate insulated dog and cat hospital wards, and more.

At VetMD, we aim to provide a comprehensive, professional and compassionate veterinary service including surgical and medical. We recognise the significance of your pets and the place they hold in your family. We treat cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rodents, reptiles and birds.
