To All Our Valued Customers.

Unfortunately, due to a sudden unforeseen circumstance, Cassowary Coast Boarding Kennels will be shutting its doors. We apologise for the inconvenience that this causes, unfortunately our hands are essentially tied, and this decision does not come lightly. We will be honouring existing bookings until June 30th 2025, after which, we will cease operation. We are deeply saddened to have to leave and appreciate all your support and business. Thank you for your understanding.

For anyone seeking boarding services, I will attach contact numbers for the 2 other facilities in the area, that hopefully will have space left.

I extended my sincerest apologies, and the best of luck to all in finding alternative arrangements.

💙Canteen💚 Bandannas have arrived!

We have 9 different designs to chose from including Aussie animals, Minecraft, fairy bread! (My personal favorite) and of course, Doggos!! 🐕

They are now available at our reception desk or if you wish to purchase online via QR code (please message which prints you would like) I can drop off!

Cassowary Coast Boarding Kennels is excited to announce that we will be taking part in Canteen's Bandanna Day!

Bandannas will be available to purchase online with a QR code (which I can then deliver to you in person or via or post) or in person at our reception desk at Cassowary Coast Boarding Kennels.

I will update with design options once the box arrives!

Cyclone Jasper is currently predicted to hit VERY close to home here. We are URGING our incoming guests for the next few weeks to HAVE AN EMERGENCY CONTACT!

This contact MUST be able to collect your pet in the event that Jasper hits us.

Our facility while built to cyclone standards, it is very open and will NOT be safe for your pet to be in during a severe storm like this.

I currently do not have a contingency plan (despite my efforts) and I would not be able to bring them into my own home as we already have MULTIPLE pets of our own that will need to come inside.

Unfortunately I am seriously considering cancelling bookings for those who cannot provide an emergency contact as it is unsafe for your pet to be left with us should Jasper hit.

We care about your pet's safety 💛

CYCLONE SEASON IS APPROACHING!

We don't want to scare anyone but it is very important that if you're planning to board your pets with us during the summer months that we have a contact in the area who is able to collect your pet/s in the event of a cyclone.

While our facility is strong it is not equipped to house animals during a major storm (should we have to face one). So we are urging every pet to have a secondary contact organised and ready!

It's a scary thought being away from your pet, let along during a cyclone. Help us protect your pet with a capable secondary contact!!
