Bud's Happy Critter Sitter I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and have been an owner of a variety of animals for many years.

I currently own and care for a number of Cats, Dogs, Birds, Goat, Horses and recently a baby Kangaroo. I have lived in a number of states through out Australia and the one thing that I always found stressing when I relocated or went on holidays was how I was going to have my beloved anima

l cared for in a way that I believe to be appropriated and in an environment that they were comfortable in. I have now decided it is time to put what I am passionate about into to a business where I will come to you, no need to board your beloved family member any more. Your pets can remain safe, lovingly cared for and awaiting your return home within their own home. I will come to you once or twice a day depending on the arrangements. Services

During the visit I will:
• Feed and water all you pets.
• Change litter trays.
• Pick up Doggie “Poo’s” in the yard.
• Clean/Change paper etc in bird cages.
• Bins out/in.
• Mail collect.
• Plants watered.
• Medications administered.
• Cuddles and play.
• Anything else within reason as requested at a reasonable additional cost. Rates

My rates are based on two pets (one cat, one dog or two cats or two dogs). Additional fees can be negotiated at the time of the pre-visit. AREAS SERVICED: Armadale, Byford, Mundijong, Beldavis and surrounding areas 30Klms Circumference. Daily Visits

Unfortunately 4 weeks ago Friday I took one of my sick western grey kangaroos for review. Andrew vet took the consult. The kangaroo was NOT examined - Andrew did provide treatment for worms in the form of injection advising to worm the rest of my roos. I advised Andrew that I thought my kangaroo may have coccidias- parasites which are fatal to western and eastern greys. I left a faecal specimen for Andrew to test for these parasites. Andrew advised me he would let me know results ASAP. We had discussed treatment for coccidia. Nil at surgery, but a friend had some which I would collect after consult with Andrew. On my way to friend to pick up treatment I had a call from the vet nurse Jo-Anne who advised me that there were worms ONLY in the faecal specimen no sign of Coccidia. I confirmed with her twice to make sure NO SIGN OF COCCIDIA. I was SO relieved. I postponed collecting treatment thinking my friend only had a little left and it would be better to get my own. This 24 hr delay of giving treatment to my sick kangaroo led to his death on Saturday late pm. 2 other of my dear kangaroos became sick with the same illness. I started treatment on Sunday with the assistance of my friend. But it was too late they too passed away. A 4th kangaroo became ill however, he is now slowly recovering although has been left blind. (Stress brought on by his illness). Hopefully he will regain his eyesight in time? The whole point of this is - if Andrew had rung me himself with the CORRECT result I could have commenced the correct treatment straight away on the Friday. I may not have saved the first kangaroo, however, I may have had a chance to save the 2 others plus the 4th from getting sick and he too from nearly dying. The Fact is Jo-Anne provided me with a false result which had a very sad outcome for my kangaroo buddies and myself. I have since requested to talk to Bruce, Andrew and Jo-Anne about the incident (not to make trouble) but to ensure that the same thing didn't happen again. This issue has been ignored by the three persons. They do not wish to discuss the incident. I have since found out kangaroos should not be wormed due to the effect it would have on the natural flora in the gut.
