🌸 Weekend Paws Update 🌸

A warm welcome back to Frankie and Millie for their second stay! It’s almost turning into a girls’ weekend, a first for us here.

We started the morning with sunshine, lots of play, and a good roll on the sunbeds before the rain moved in (19.8mm so far!).

Don’t worry though, our guests are well covered. Fluffy beds, couches piled with blankets, and the heating on make for the perfect snuggle zone. 🐾💤

Thursday Paws 🐾

A warm welcome to Sisi a beautiful boar-coloured mini-standard dachshund. She’s the sweetest little soul, quietly going around and making new friends. 💕

Today has been all about zoomies, splashes, sunshine naps, more zoomies, a bit of duck-watching (with a bark or two for good measure!), and plenty of snuggly snoozes in between. The perfect mix of play and relaxation. 🌞🐶

Departure Lounge: Snoot & Cooper enjoyed a proper scrub-a-dub session, leaving them fresh, fluffy, and looking their best before heading home. ✨🛁

🌸 Spring really is in the air and the dachshunds have stepped up their game with extra playfulness today!

🐾 Digby was on fire, zooming around with his chosen ball of the day, Penny hot on his heels.

💛 It was lovely to see Sadie and Hank playing together, almost like a sweet big-brotherly bond.

☀️ Winston returned for his second day. A little slower this time, but we made sure he had his favourite chew to enjoy while pondering life in the sunshine.

🏖️ After a short break, Larni, Marni, and Louie rejoined the crew. Louie wasted no time getting comfy in one of Sherlock’s custom-made sand lounges.

🌟 A big welcome to Chloe, Willow, Pixie, Charlie, and Frankie ,joining us for their short staycation! The crew is officially complete.

✈️ Departure Lounge: today we have Lenny, Yoko, and Yoshi packing their bags , not before getting a bath ☺️

🌾 Farmstay
September: Just a couple of mid-week staycations left!

October: Availability open 13th – 31st – perfect spring dates for a getaway.

November: We’ll be taking a short break 1st – 8th November (Daycare + Farmstay closed) to recharge before the Christmas rush.
👉 If your dates overlap, your dachshunds are welcome to check in after the 8th by arrangement.

December: 🎄 Christmas is FULLY BOOKED! 12 lucky guests will be joining us for the festive fun.
Pre-Christmas spots are super limited ,get in quick if you’d like your dachshund to join the celebrations.

🔍 Daycare Investigation:
Sherlock here, sniffing out the latest intel! Sorry to bury you in the sand pit with a bit of bad news… from now on we can’t accept unsterilised males.

There are a few safe options, like a chemical implant, injection, or full sterilisation, but we won’t be accepting vasectomies. Vasectomies don’t prevent hormonal-related issues like aggression, urine marking, or mounting, and they don’t protect against testicular tumors, prostate problems, or perineal hernias, because the te**es are not removed. Other potential downsides include surgical complications, such as infection.

🐾 Just ask our resident snaggie, Cooper! He had a vasectomy but needed another operation 4 years later for full castration due to infection, thickened scar tissue, and even a biopsy for cancer just in case, along with incontinence. This is why we don’t accept vasectomies at Dash & Paws .
It’s all about keeping our pups safe and healthy! 💛

Lenny’s all unpacked and looking like it’s Christmas morning! 🎄✨ Daycare is buzzing with ball games, pool splashes, and zoomies everywhere. 🐶💨

The chill crew? They’ve claimed the sunbeds and towels for maximum sunshine soaking. ☀️ Honestly…we might need more sunbeds,today was that popular! 😎

Looks like it’ll be an early night for everyone here, including our hardworking daycare crew. 💤💛
