We will be holding a Gastroscope day on Tuesday the 21st April in conjunction with Randlab.

Valtair Park in Mullumbimby are kindly providing their awesome facilities for the occasion. We know a few southern clients have been keen to have their horses scoped so this is your chance! (Northern clients also more than welcome) 🐎

Cost will be $150 per horse including veterinary exam, sedation and gastroscope procedure. For additional horses with the same owner there is a discounted rate available.

Half price faecal egg counts for all attendees.

📸 The photo is the stomach of a horse we scoped on our last scope day who had grade 4 squamous ulcers. You can see the angry red lesions particularly around the bottom of the screen. She is feeling a lot more comfortable now after treatment!

🎄Merry Christmas from all of us at Valtair Park🎄

We would like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful clients, friends, and supporters for an incredible year. Your ongoing support truly means the world to us, and we are so grateful to have such an amazing community around Valtair Park 🤍

We’re doing things a little differently this year. We’ll be open for lessons and arena hire every day (excluding public holidays) up until 8th January.

From 8th–30th January, we’ll be taking a much-needed break to rest, reset, and recharge. We really appreciate your understanding during this time.

We’re already so excited for the 2026 season ahead and can’t wait to share what’s to come with you all.

🦄Join the Valtair Park Team🦄
Groom and stablehand positions open at our boutique performance horse stable. We are located in Mullumbimby, NSW—just 1 km from the town centre and only 15 minutes from Byron Bay.

Position: Immediate start.
Possibility of going full-time for the right candidate.

We are looking for a self-motivated, reliable and conscientious person. A person who takes pride in their work and is happy to work along side myself and/or by themselves. We are a boutique equestrian facility so this person must be willing to treat these horses with the same passion as their own.

This role is split shifts and weekend hours required, 5-6 days a week.
Hours: 6am - 12noon and 1pm - 5.30pm
It consists of washing down horses, cleaning stables, cleaning hooves and grooming, cleaning tack, cleaning paddocks, feeding, general farm maintenance and overall care of the horses.

Requirements:
Working independently and manage your time accordingly, fit and healthy, experience handling large and fit horses, have an eye for detail, take initiative, ability to take instruction and follow plan.
Valtair Park is located on a 400 acre cattle property, so this role may be diverse and varied at times.

Road Update for Arena Hire & Clinics 🚗🐴

We’ve had a few questions about road access for arena hire and upcoming clinics, so here’s the latest info from the council:
• The inbound road to Mullumbimby and Valtair Park is open as normal.
• The outbound road will change from October 13th due to roadworks.

If you’re towing, we recommend heading out via Myocum — it’s currently the safest and easiest route.

If you have any questions or need a hand with directions, feel free to reach out to our team.

🚧Mullumbimby Road upgrade - here's what you need to know.

📆From next Monday 13 October until Christmas there will be no outbound traffic on Mullumbimby Road (except for emergency services, waste services and school buses).

You can continue to use Mullumbimby Road on your way in.

📍Detour routes include:
* Coolamon Scenic Drive (northbound).
* Myocum Road (southbound and for heavy vehicles)
* The Saddle Road (outbound only and for light vehicles only).

⏰Work hours are now Monday to Saturday 7am until 6pm.

✌️Slow down, chill out and chuck on the tunes as you follow traffic control and signage.

💚Mullumbimby is open for business and we encourage you to keep supporting local businesses, it'll just take you a little longer on your way home.
