When you’re walking with friends to their house in Katoomba and see a tree full of cherries being absolutely smashed by birds, you knock on the door and ask if you can pick some.

After the successes of my hand made wreaths at Street Feast I have made some Christmas themed ones. With the festive season right around the corner and lots of fun and parties coming up, these are great to wear to show off your Christmas spirit. Also can be hung on the door or used as a table decorations.

The kids wanted plums for school. It’s winter… lucky for them I have jars of preserved fruit, plums being one of them. Quite tangy. Nice with yogurt and a splash of maple syrup.

When my house accidentally looks Instagram perfect. I didn’t even try.
This is a big deal for me as I’m a terrible house keeper. Family of 5, with 3 kids, it can be a lot. So sitting down to have a cuppa and looking up to see this made me happy. I hope it makes you happy as well.
The flowers are wild cherry plum from the side of the road.
