💔 Dearest friends & fans,
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of Spencer being laid to rest.
Spencer's health recently took a turn for the worse and unfortunately his ability to maintain fluids and eat had gone.
As Spencer lay in the hospital on oxygen last night, we farewelled him knowing not only how special he was to us but to so many others.
Our adventures together included charity work with a number of charities such as & support from local businesses such as vet's, cafe's, patient groomers & many others.
Knowing from an early age that Spencer's life was unlikely to be a long one, I invested in a dog-pusher, acquired neighborhood shopping trolleys and took him on every adventure I was allowed to (& many where I was told not to too!). Whilst blood and health tests always said he was okay, Spencer's inability to live like a dog was evident to passerby's & was something my inner circle were all very patient with.
Despite needing to literally be carried through life, it was all worth it. His ability to stop traffic & make hearts smile was so incredibly special to us both & I imagine Spencer is now in doggy-heaven doing much of the same + eating all the bacon + able to do the things he was brought into the world unable to do.
To the people who religiously sent messages of love & support & those who were in need who appreciated his page more than we knew, our international fans who made efforts to visit us on their holidays here and so many others, thank you.
It has been an absolute pleasure to share Spencer's adventures with you all.
Thank-you to my partner, friends & family for their love & care during this time and once again & to all of you who kept us posting.
