Wanting to learn more about how Matt starts horses under saddle? Next Saturday March 8 @ 9am-1pm we are running a Horse Starting Demonstration for those wanting to learn about Matt’s techniques and processes to set horses up for partnership and their riding career.
Matt will talk students through the how’s and why’s allowing plenty of time for questions.
For those who have worked with Matt, you will see Foundation 1 in action.

Tyson’s had GRPxWarmblood, Neo in for work this week. Matt & Tyson started him under saddle last March and he’s just needing a little more support & practice after a spell ready to go on with his lovely person, Chantelle.

Jodie Luck from Almazaan Stud bought 2yo GRP c**t, Cluedo over to meet Matt for his first off property outing.

Cutest little guy and oh so clever!
Jodie’s done an excellent job with his handling and he’s already got the basics pretty solid.
Matt used the opportunity to refine some of those skills and introduce some concepts to help set him up for his future ridden career.

It’s important to be very hands on with lots of regular handling/interaction/jobs for a c**t or stallion so they develop a good work ethic and can keep training in the forefront of their mind.

Tyson, our junior horseman will be working with Cluedo over the next few months at Almazaan.
