**The liquid version from Pet Shops, do not work

Red factor canaries get their colour from carotenoid pigments, which are carried via the bloodstream and absorbed by growing feathers — giving them the distinctive red coloration.

Canthaxanthin is a Liquid colour enhancer that is mixed with the bird’s drinking water.

Color-feeding is most effective while the canary is experiencing its annual feather molt.

Pair your birds in breeding cages, giving them nesting material, a nest pan etc.
Feed the birds sprouted seed everyday. Feed soft food twice a week to paired birds or everyday to those with babies. Feed a richer seed diet. Always remove stale soft food and uneaten greens. Feed soft food two or three times a day to the early hatchlings.
;Give baths freely, especially as the hen nears the hatching day.

All ready for the breeding season. Nest boxes all washed and repainted. Just have to add the water containers and the hens. The beautiful singing males will then join them early September.

AUGUST:
Prepare for the breeding season. Check breeding stock for health and fitness. Check the s*x of any doubtful young birds. Breeding hens can be placed in the breeding cages towards the end of the month. Begin sprouting seeds for feeding twice a week. Maintain supplies of grit and cuttlefish. Continue plain diet until the middle of the month.
