We want our dogs to be well-behaved, social, obedient, and above all, safe to co-exist with our family and friends. Unfortunately, too many beloved pups are handed in to animal shelters when they become too destructive or too aggressive for their owners to manage. This usually happens when the pup is around 12-18 months of age, when their dominant behaviour emerges. Pup-PL specializes in pups unde

r 12 months of age so we can address dominance issues before they get out of control. Pup-IL helps owners to raise the ideal dog by teaching them to be the calm and confident pack-leaders every dog wants, needs and deserves. Every dog owner can become a great pack-leader. You just need to understand some basic dog psychology and dogs language skills. It's easy and a lot of fun! How?

1) We come to your home for a 2 hour assessment and instruction session.

2) We provide you with a written copy of the assessment and a tailored list of instructions to address your pups specific behavioural issues, e.g. nuisance barking, jumping on guests, food aggression, fear of objects etc.

3) One month after the initial visit, we will call you to find out how you're progressing with your goals, and offer support over the phone if necessary.

4) If we have enough clients in your area, we will hold local pup-IL seminars so you can gain advanced pack-leader skills and meet like-minded people to share experiences and ideas.

5) You can join our Facebook discussion page to get quick feedback on any problems you might experience along the journey.

6) For an additional fee we can help you to introduce your pup to your local dog park, where they can get lessons in doggy manners by older, calmer dogs. It's also a wonderful way to stimulate your pup by engaging their senses, especially their nose! Fees:

Balls viewed as Lego: If your friend allowed their child to play with Lego morning, noon and night, when family came to visit, during trips to the park, and in place of all other types of education, would you be concerned for the child's mental well-being? Of course you would! Dogs and ball play is no different. If your dog ignores your commands, avoids interacting with other dogs, and is possessive of their balls, you may want to reassess allowing your dog to play with balls.
