This Pink Cockatoo was handed into the clinic. It was told to be found around the Karakamia Sanctuary (in the Chidlow area).

The cockatoo seems to be tame as quite friendly however does not have a microchip. If you have any information please contact the clinic on 95721777 tomorrow morning after 8am. Best regards MHFVC team.

A position for an Animal Assistant (Kennel Hand) to be part of our team at MHFVC has become available.

After school hours, (circa 3:30-6:30), two to three days a week.

We can't believe it's almost Christmas - and almost 2026. 😲
Important things to note and remember:

1 - Please order medications and food requirements in advance to avoid disappointment.

2 - MHFVC will be closed only on the Public Holidays, and open the rest of the holiday period to assist with all your and your pets needs.

3 - Information and directions to several emergency centres are available on our website. https://www.mthelenavet.com.au/emergencies/ or you can call us to be directed to our nearest emergency after hours centre in Midland.

We are experiencing phone issues.
Some calls are not connecting when multiple calls occur simultaneously. Please be rest assured we are open and providing our services for you as per standard opening hours.
