Mossman Agricultural Services Mossman Ag Services is a not for profit organisation with two sides to the business. We provide productivity services for the cane growers in the area.

We also have a shop stocking a range of products, come in and see what we have! At Mossman Ag Services we stock a range of agricultural and stock supplies. Agricultural Crop Supplies

Mossman Agricultural Services is a cornerstone of agriculture in the Douglas Shire, providing vital support to local farming industries and operating a retail store that supplies a wide range of agricultural products to the community. Proudly locally owned and run, we are committed to strengthening the agricultural sector and ensuring its long-term success.

We are seeking an Independent Director to join our Board and contribute to the strategic direction of our well-established organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about agriculture, business sustainability, and community engagement.

🔑Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic oversight and governance to support the long-term success of Mossman Agricultural Services.
• Contribute independent thinking, insight, and expertise to Board discussions and decision-making.
• Support the Board in ensuring financial sustainability, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Work collaboratively with fellow Directors and management to enhance the organisation’s impact.

💼Skills & Experience:
• Experience in business, finance, agriculture, or governance.
• A strong understanding of regional and rural industries, particularly agriculture.
• Prior Board or senior leadership experience is highly regarded.
• Ability to think strategically and contribute to long-term planning.
• A commitment to the values and mission of Mossman Agricultural Services.
