Dog grooming should be essential services. Having a dog grooming business, I see the pain and health implications when dogs become matted. It doesn’t harm humans not to have a haircut but it does harm dogs. Daniel Andrew’s should lift restrictions and permits required for dog grooming.

This is close to my heart. Fortunately I don’t see this often but sharing because I see it more than necessary and in particular with designer long haired breeds.

Know what your buying and the care that is needed.

Did you know that water nor air can pe*****te the skin when the coat is matted. Imagine the ill health of the skin and the suffering of your much loved and loyal fur baby. It ends up a bit like when you have had a bandaid on for too long.

Are you aware of the discomfort and sometimes pain your pet goes through when with your groomer when in this state. As a groomer it breaks my heart.

A tough love and educational post that anyone with a long haired dog should read.
