HELP!!! Lola has been through some tough times in her short life and we’ve never asked for help to get her through any of it, but this is a time in our lives where we definitely need some help.

Our baby girl Lola was hit by a car this morning. She has a broken leg that needs surgery and because of her tracheotomy, it makes everything more complicated. The bills are piling up and our insurance won’t cover it all.

We are a family of 5 now (Lola has 2 little brothers) and we can’t afford to spend this kind of money. Lola has so much more life to live so, we are asking for your help please.

If Lola has made you laugh, cry or say naww even just once, we ask if you could help put towards the cost in anyway, we will be so grateful.

Sorry it’s been so long everybody! 🐶 It’s been a very busy and exciting 6 months, we moved interstate and now live on the Gold Coast in Queensland! I have so much room to play now and my brother is old enough to play with me too. 🐾 My health is really good and I have lots of energy now... Hoping everybody is staying safe, sane and AT HOME during this time! 💕

Hi everybody! I know it’s been too long but there’s been so much happening. Firstly, I am healing really well and I’ve really adjusted to my new breathing hole. I don’t even notice it’s there now and my hair is SLOWLY growing back! 🐶 In other big news, my baby brother arrived safe and sound and he’s perfect! His name is Parker and he likes the tickling when I sniff him. Mum and Dad still give me the same amount of love, attention and cuddles as always so I’m a happy girl! ❤️ Thank you for all of your messages over the last few months, it’s been ruff but I have so much more energy now I can breath properly! 🙌 Can’t wait to eventually run around the park with Parker! 🐾 @ Mosman, New South Wales, Australia

Hi everyone! We are very happy to be able to share with you that Lola is home, healthy and happy. 🐶 We haven’t shared any of this until now because it’s been a very tough couple of weeks for all of us. 😢 After having her enlarged tonsils and some soft pallet removed 6 weeks ago, her recovery stalled after a couple of weeks and her airway started to decline. She was rushed to the amazing staff at SASH - Small Animal Specialist Hospital and they found that her larynx had collapsed and couldn’t be fixed. Now after 2 weeks in ICU and 2 more surgeries, she has finally come home to us with a better airway than ever thanks to a permanent tracheostomy (hole in her throat). It looks a little fresh at the moment so no photos for now, but rest assured she is comfortable and very happy to be home! 🎉 Thank you so much to the incredible team at SASH, especially Drs Andrew, Amanda and Paul for their special care with her (and us)! 🙏

Well it’s been another big couple of weeks for me! 🐶 I had to have my tonsils removed last week as well as some soft pallet trimmed off because my airway was being too restricted. So the good news is I CAN BREATH!! 🎉 The bad news, I sound like one of my squeaky toys when I bark now... geez I hope this isn’t permanent! Mum and Dad are a bit sad that I don’t snort, snore or grunt anymore but it’s for the best. 🐶
