Message to all Members:
It will come as no surprise that due to this terrible weather and more forecasted to come tomorrow , I have to advise that we will not be training tomorrow evening (3/6/26).
Keep your pups and dogs at home safe and warm, and practise what we have already taught you.
Remember there is no training on Sunday (7/6/26) due to State Championship Agility Trials.
Hoping to see you all very soon when this weather has moved on.

Dry night here, so I am happy to say, we will be opening for training today 31/5/26.
Especially as we will not be training next weekend due to State Agility Trial through the long weekend.
However, as per usual if it's pouring with rain where you live, my advice is stay home in the warm.

I am waiting to see what the weather is like through the night. And will advise early tomorrow morning if the grounds are too slippery and boggy and obviously if still pouring and unfortunately will cancel. (31/5/25)

Just a reminder that we will not be training tomorrow (24/5/26) as our Agility discipline are having their double Agility trial throughout the day. You are welcome to pop in and see them running at any time. We will however, be training on Wednesday & the Sunday following. But on the long weekend 6th 7th 8th June we are holding a State Championship Agility Trial on those dates. Once again you will be welcome to pop in on those days and watch those clever dogs too.
Looking forward to seeing you all this coming Wednesday and the following Sunday.

Weather looks like it's better this morning, our grounds are still good, so we WILL BE TRAINING TODAY (17/5/26).
However, as usual if it's pouring where you live my advice is stay home in the warm. Please remember there will not be training next week 24th May, we have an Agility trial on that day. You are welcome to come along and watch the dogs do their thing!

A couple of more notes for your diaries.
We will be training tomorrow 10th May on Mothers Day, weather permitting.

Unfortunately our Rally class will not be training until first Sunday in June - 7th. We are hoping our Instructors are well enough and ready to train once again by then. 🤞
This date 7/6/26 is also the Sunday that we will be training members children, grandchildren and also siblings of the children to learn how to approach dogs be it their own dogs or other people's dogs. What to do and what not to do to enable keeping the children and the dogs safe.
This class is held on every first Sunday of the month and is taken by Serena at 10am in the log cabin. Parents and carers are welcome too.

Our Agility discipline will be holding a double Agility trial on Sunday 24th May on our grounds starting at 9.30am through to the afternoon. Therefore we will not be training on that Sunday, but you are very welcome to come along with or without your dogs and see what the Agility dogs and their handlers can do.

Now I would like any one who has, already told me they are interested in becoming an aspiring instructor, to come to the office at a time convenient to you during the morning to see me so I can ascertain what day or dates you are able to start the theory work. Looking forward to starting this great new group as soon as we can.

Just been checking forecast and it looks like a light shower before 9am but none after that till afternoon it hadn't rained here during the night, so grounds are ok. Windy but dry so far.
We therefore WILL BE OPENING FOR TRAINING TODAY (3/5/26).
However as usual, if it's pouring where you live, my advice is to stay home in the dry. Hopefully see you there for graduation. Val - Head Instructor

With regards to training tomorrow (3/5/26) I will be advising tomorrow early morning once I know what the weather has been through the night and what the forecast is for the morning.
I would however remind all that Rally will not be training on Sunday or Thursday evenings for the forseeable future.. I will advise when we will be training Rally again as soon as possible.
