Last weekend we unexpectedly said 'Hello!' to Atlas, and he's stolen our hearts 💕
We also said 'Goodbye' to the last of our breeding chickens 🐔
The last few years of us breeding and showing have been amazing. We've made wonderful friends, had so much fun and learnt so much
Unfortunately with study, work and more pets than we can shake a stick at, something had to give. And I found my heart wasn't in it anymore 😓
I have kept all my original layers as retired pets to enjoy their days here, and everything else has gone to Carly at Hooked on Chooks (sorry can't tag it won't allow me!). So if you're after any good quality Belgian D'uccle or Chocolate Bantam Orpingtons and missed out from me, this is your best bet - along with plenty of other breeds 🥰
Thank you to every single person who supported our passion and hobby over the last few years - we appreciate all of you ❤️

Not chicken related, but majority of people with chickens may have a dog. And as an owner of a senior dog, we know how important it is to get those memories with them. We've had a session with Anita, and it was wonderful!

We did it! 🥳 The weather held out and we had time to sort the pullet pens. There may be one more release of last year's pullets, but this is the majority of my excess stock to go so get in quick! ❤️

Well I have been so busy with non chicken related things that I've just seen - we've hit over 1,000 followers!! 🥳

We really appreciate everyone who has joined us on our chicken journey, especially as we have been quieter. We have had a lot on with a sneaky anniversary holiday, a family member's wedding, terrible weather stopping photos/pen sorting, and unfortunately one sick pup stealing all the attention (his photo attached to show you just how handsome he is)

Weather pending I SWEAR I will get through the pullet pens and post some girls to be 👀 for new 🏡

Please note I don't part with eggs or chicks, and I will likely only be doing a very limited number of hatches this year (if any) due to Chance's ongoing illness, care and requiring our attention for every second of the day ❤️ he is our priority for the time he is with us ❤️

We've been so quiet here! We have been incredibly busy with work, study and trying to keep dry (a near impossible task!) 🌧
Breeding will start up for us again this year in May, on a likely minor scale due to personal commitments. Hopeful to make some local shows with pullets and cockerals if possible too 🏅
I will look to post some mature hens/breeding birds available this weekend as we are making changes/downsizing, but in the meantime, please enjoy a pile of dust bathing pullets ♥️💕
