OPT Kaiser (aka Piggy) headed out to Smythsdale HT & CT for his first step up to grade 1.

Piglet led from start to finish with a beautiful test, scoring 69.5% including a rider error 🫠
One rail luckily kept him on top to win the combined training. He then ate up the cross country coarse like a champ to come in clear and under time!

In less than two years this little horse has come so far. It is so rewarding to see his confidence quite literally sky rocket. As shown today in his wonderful performance 🩵💙

Kicking off 2025 right with Piglet 🙌🏽

Today Miss Velvet arrived at her forever home. I couldn’t have parted with her for anyone less worthy. Wendy Height . I’m so excited for what you and Velvet will achieve together.

My mum helped me purchase Velvet from her good friend Andre Otto four years ago. Both of which have been a huge part of her journey.
Thank you mum for guiding me back to competition riding (your plan worked!!)
And thank you Andrea for breeding such a special horse. None of this would have been possible without you.

So often I felt like “I’m not getting anywhere”, but looking back now I see we came amazingly far. From breaking her in myself to now competing consistently well around EA95, she has been a pleasure.
Horse riding being such a humbling sport, but the highs being so worth it. And today (even though the tears I have cried say otherwise) is one of the highs. Because my blank canvas is now lucky enough to go to the perfect home.

A moment for the handsome Mr Moby 🧡

Today I had the pleasure of riding “Mr Moby” in our first competition together. Nearly a year since his last outing, and he was a true gentlemen. Scoring 66% & 67.7% to win both grade 1 tests. Also taking home overall champion for the day 🫶🏽
Big thank you to Fi & Zoe Warner for offering me the very enjoyable ride.
