Little sale time: 10% off the newly arrived, very beautiful and elusive peppermint bristlenose catfish for the rest of today - open until 5PM ✨

We also have a small number of marine snails and a tuxedo urchin now available for sale as we are officially sold out of coral frags - and our maroon gold-stripe bonded clownfish pair (initially wild caught) are ready for a new home too. We’d ideally love them to go to a long-term marine customer as they’ve been a beloved part of the shop for years 💕 They are happy to hand feed and host in anything from a duncan to a carpet nem 🪸 and just need some tank space due to being a large species.

Hey folks, due to an appointment today the shop will be closed for a break this afternoon, still with regular opening times of 11AM and close of 6PM planned.

Happy Saturday everyone! Todays a big day for Matt and Laura 💍 maybe it can be a big day for your tank too!

We have plenty of red root floaters, duckweed and frogbit available, along with some long awaited fishy arrivals of peppermint bristlenoses and endler guppies.

Have you ever wanted to own your own little Local Fish Shop here in the heart of Moonah? Now we’re deep into year 6 of operating the shopfront, time is running short for us with our current lease ending in October (available for a new owner: 3 year renewal at the end of a 3/3/3, future lease offers dependent on the landlord). Matt’s major hip surgery is lurking in the near future, meaning we can’t continue in the roles that this shop truly needs whilst we prepare life first and then the long recovery. This business is best suited for another keen couple or business partners with a dealers license (or fish farm license and willing to acquire dealers license) and aquatic experience, who are capable of heavy lifting and heaps of tank scrubbing, noting some staffing and training is available for a transition period.
