Paws A Spell is the place where pets come to have their portraits painted. With an artist in residence, who specialises in "PETRAITURE" (portraits of pets) you can commission a painting of your special friend. I also paint PETRAITURE on fabric for cushion covers, so you can always snuggle up with your fur child when travelling.

"Petraiture" is being recognised by world-renowned curator Brett Lethbridge - all three paintings submitted have been selected in the finals of the Brisbane Rotary Art Spectacular now showing in Brisbane at 345 Queen Street. Yaaaay, "Petraiture" (Janet Carew's Portraits of Pets) has taken off in leaps and bounds, My painting, "Luna Starr" has been shortlisted in the prestigious art prize exhibition, the Brisbane Rotary Art Spectacular, opening in Brisbane at Plaza one in a gala event on 16th -May. Maybe I'll see you there? It runs from 15 - 19 May https://www.rotaryartspectacular.com.au/newsite/opening-night/
