As the year wraps up, I’ll be stepping away from appointments for a little while to enjoy some special family time and recharge. I’ll be unavailable from now until the 12th of January.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the Animal Welfare League through a very special bake sale organised by my daughter. With the generosity of our amazing community, she raised $300 to help animals in need.

So proud of her initiative, kindness, and big heart, and so thankful to everyone who bought a treat, donated, or shared encouragement. Together, small actions really do make a big difference.

Hi everyone! Just a quick note to let you know about my availability over the school holidays:

🗓 This Week (Mon 8th – Fri 12th July):
📍 Extended consult hours from 9am to 5pm

🗓 Saturday 13th July: 9am – 4pm
🗓 Sunday 14th July: 9am – 12pm

I’ll be taking a break from Monday 15th July through Monday 21st July, and back to work from Tuesday 22nd July as normal.

If your pet is due for vaccinations or you’ve got any concerns, now’s a great time to book in—spots are filling fast! I may be able to squeeze in urgent appointments during my break on a case-by-case basis, so feel free to get in touch.

🌟 The Story Behind Dr. Troy 🌟

Many of you know me as Dr. Troy, but I wanted to share how this journey began. 💜

It all started with my own cat, Tobias.
At 12 years old, he had chronic kidney disease and was terrified of vet visits and his carrier. 😿 Wanting to reduce his stress, I decided to treat him at home instead. I set up everything — external labs for blood and urine tests, sourced medications, and even worked with food companies for his special diet.

The change was incredible — Tobias was so much calmer and happier receiving his care in his own safe space. That experience opened my eyes to just how much better this approach could be for pets and their families. 💙

From there, the idea grew: why not bring the same high-quality, stress-free care to other people’s pets? 🐾.

I am dedicated to delivering exceptional value — offering thorough, one-hour consults and detailed follow-up notes emailed after each visit to clearly explain the findings and the plan. 🕒✉️

Today, I’m grateful to be part of so many pets’ lives, helping them stay healthy and comfortable at home — where they belong. 💜

🐾 Joey’s Story 🐾

In February 2024, Joey’s loving owner discovered an unusual, hard lump on Joey’s wrist. Sadly, it turned out to be an aggressive bone tumour called osteosarcoma, a cancer that commonly affects large breed dogs. 😔

Joey was too large and arthritic to be a candidate for amputation of the affected limb, and he was terrified of clinic visits, so chemotherapy wasn’t an option for him. Alongside the pain in his bone, he also developed gut issues, bloating, and stomach pain. His prognosis was just a few weeks to live. 💔

That’s when we turned to natural alternatives. Through the use of Chinese herbal medicine and alternative supplements (alongside strong pain relief), Joey enjoyed another 6 months of good quality life and play. 🐶💚

Meet Stella, who is almost 13 years old!

When I first met gorgeous Stella, she was overweight, suffered from chronic skin and ear infections (her ears were so inflamed I couldn’t even fit the otoscope into her ear canals), struggled to jump onto the sofa and bed, and didn’t want to walk far.

Over the past 12 months, thanks to her dedicated owners and a tailored treatment plan, we’ve made remarkable progress.
