𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 - 𝗦𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗴 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮
It is with a heavy heart that I write this.
I’ve made the decision not to operate Sausage Dog Threads this year. This has been a tremendously hard decision to come to.
There are a number of reasons for this. Essentially, I have come to the realisation that for my own well-being, I cannot continue to operate the business in the way I was last year. As many of you might know, Sausage Dog Threads is a side venture for me. My full time job is as a high school teacher. This year I will not be working from home, and will therefore have a one hour commute each way to work. There are just simply not enough hours in the day for me to juggle full time work (in a career I love) plus adequately devote time to my side venture. I am concerned that I wont be able to maintain my high standards of quality for Sausage Dog Threads and also for my full time job. I just know in my gut that it is the right decision to make for me at this point in time.
It is with great sadness that I have made this decision. I have loved making the coats and seeing them worn by your beloved snags. I have especially loved the relationships I have developed with my customers and followers, and I regret not being able to continue offering my products.
This isn’t goodbye forever. I will reconsider my position next year, and I’m hoping I can figure out a way to make it work under my circumstances.
