This injured sugar glider presented today. He was assessed under anaesthetic, given fluids and antibiotics and placed in care. Our wildlide carers do an amazing job collecting and caring for wildlife. This week we saw an echidna, glider, tawny frogmouth, kangaroo and a sheawater.

Nurse Brit is currently in Africa having an amazing experience helping some of the locals...lions, zebras,warthogs ! So awesome.
We are grateful to Liz for helping out, and the rest of the team pulling some extra shifts and longer hours. Thanks also for everyone's patience this week, we had a crazy number of emergencies turn up and several clients kindly moved appointments or waited longer than normal. Let's hope next week is a little calmer 😊

After a very busy week it's time for a well earned rest.. Miss Noodle agrees ☺️
The clinic will be closed Friday Saturday Sunday Monday and reopen 8am Tuesday.
We will have vets covering the after hours so call the clinic for info and numbers out of hours. Stay safe and lock up the chocolate !

Always a good day when a snake bite patient goes home all recovered xx
Little Izzi had a run in with a black snake last Wednesday, but presented at 1am in the morning collapsed and vomiting. She was very fortunate to respond to antivenom, fluids and intensive care. Such a brave sweet girl 🐾
