Barkin Beauty Grooming Offering quality dog grooming to the beautiful dogs of Albany and surrounds. Since then, dog grooming has been her passion and taken Ashlie under her wing.

A bit about us: We are a mother - daughter team, Hannah and Ashlie, who carry years of experience grooming and handling dogs of all breeds and size. Hannah achieved her Certificate III Dog Grooming Qualification at WA Dog Grooming & Clipping Academy in Perth back in 2016. Since 2007 both of us have focussed our lives around dogs, both taking part in showing and training our beautiful family dogs (

English Mastiffs) for almost 10 years! We now own a beautiful Australian Shepherd, Wren, who is pretty much the face of our salon, so chances are if you haven’t met her yet, you will soon! We focus our grooming on ensuring that your dog has the most comfortable experience possible. We use quality ProGroom Shampoos and Conditioners to suit all coat styles, even those with very sensitive skin. We have hydraulic grooming tables and bath that lower all the way down to suit those extra large breeds who we can’t lift, or those oldies who may struggle to jump up. Our bath also has lovely warm water for an extra enjoyable scrub. We groom young puppies, all the way up to the oldest of oldies! If you find your dog struggles to stand in their old age, that’s no problem, we adjust our way of grooming to allow them to lay down for the duration of their groom. All breeds are welcome in our salon as we have plenty of experience handling our own 90kg+ English Mastiffs so no breed is too big or too small! We offer Breed/Standard Clipping, De-shedding, Groom Outs, Nail Clipping, Tidy Ups, Washing and Blow Drying.

Hi everyone,
My name is Pippa, I’m 3 years old, and this is my best mate Fletcher, who is 12 years young.

We are both looking for a safe and loving home together. Sadly, our dad is currently in hospital and won’t be coming home to look after us anymore. He loved us very much, and this is a very difficult time for us.

Fletcher has a couple of ongoing health issues that will need some care and attention. We’ve also both enjoyed a few too many snacks over the years, so we’ll need a little help getting back to a healthy weight.

We would really love to stay together, as we’re the best of friends and bring each other comfort.

Now that is slowly starting to warm up and we are getting to the busy time of year, we have been inundated with calls and messages which means the absolute world to us. However sadly we are unable to take on any new clients.

We highly recommend if you are an existing client, to prebook as many appointments as you can to avoid disappointment.

We wish we could have the capacity to accept everyone but there is only so much we can do between us. We appreciate you all and hope you can all understand! We will be making a new post when we can accept new clients again. Thank you everyone!
