🐾 Cash 🐾

This handsome fella started the puppy program today! He’s such a cool little (or big!) guy and I’m excited to be working with him and his parents over the next 5 weeks 🙌🏻

I wonder if anyone can guess his breed 🤔

I am very excited to now be offering Ziwi Peak’s steam-dried dog range to clients for purchase! 🐾

It won’t be available on my website, but available for purchase during consults OR if you are in need of a top up, I can organise delivery within Orange - Bathurst - Millthorpe and in between.

I am all about healthy and nutritious diets (including training treats!) for our dogs. I understand some great diets can be very pricey, but the steam-dried range from Ziwi Peak is more affordable and you know you are giving your dogs great, nutritious food, even for training 🥦

I have started using this food for training treats in consults and have been giving out some samples to try.

There are different sizes of bags, different prices and recipes:
🥕 Chicken with Orchard Fruits
🥕 Beef with Pumpkin
🥕 Lamb with Green Vegetables

Please get in touch if you would like to try it out! 🐕

Max and I are very similar. We like wide open spaces, that preferably take a dirt road or two to get there, we don’t like big crowds or loud noises, we can get over stimulated very quickly and we are both working on stillness. Perfect match really 😂😂🥰

Sweet Jessy ❤️ this girl has a fear around some doorways. There can be many reasons why a dog would have a fear like this. Today we started working on positive associations to the area, without going to the door, working on small progressions and keeping sessions short and sweet 🥰

I’ve been slowly chipping away at adding ‘further learning’ on my website. I love education and just talking about dogs in general! So will keep adding different topics up there for some light reading - feel free to message me if there’s a specific topic about dogs you want to learn more on 📚

Services include in-home dog behaviour consults, puppy program, adolescent program and classes in Blayney.

Last session today with these handsome boys 🥰 I’m so proud of these guys and their parents with consistent training and patience, particularly for Tato and his resource guarding. Tato has shown to guard food and other resources and had shown that his behaviour would progress very quickly from growling.

His mum does an amazing job at understanding his body language, which is a crucial part in preventing behaviours escalating. We have worked on helping Tato learn valuable disengagement skills from resources, forming positive associations around human’s while in the presence of food and confidence growth through relationship building, changing what meal times mean and helping Tato form new positive behaviour patterns.

I want to add that it is also important we do respect our dog’s space, particularly around food, so training should be done very carefully where they don’t feel conflicted or the need to guard and can happily eat, which his parents do AMAZING with 🤗

We worked on very gradual steps, to ensure Tato wasn’t put in a situation where he would feel the need to guard as this also involves safety and preventing rehearsal.

Well done Tato and family ❤️

I just love this dog so much ❤️

We all have our struggles with our dogs, when Max was younger we had huge challenges through adolescence and we still have things we’re working on and always will - that’s a part of sharing your life with a dog. But I think it’s so important to keep working on your bond and relationship with them as a priority, despite how frustrated you might feel, because that bond is what can really help you and your dog through the struggles if they trust you and you have some fun together.

It can be so easy to just focus on the negative all the time but I can guarantee you there are some positives there and even progress, but we wont be able to see this if we always focus on the negative ❤️
