Purple Grain's first official fill-up! 💜🌾

One of my favourite things about our poultry adventure is connecting with other local businesses that genuinely care about what they do.

A huge thank you to Suzie and the team at Dorroughby Stockfeeds.

They've been wonderful to deal with and made the switch to their Layer Mash an easy one.

The chooks love it dry, fermented and as wet Mash. So happy to have found a perfectly adaptable feed for the whole flock.

Great service, quality feed, and supporting local businesses at the same time. That's a win in my books.

When Ricky Ridgway said he was building a Chicknic table, I didn't realise I'd need reservations.

A huge thank you to Ricky for making this gorgeous chicknic table.

PM Ricky to order, he has also made all of my Brooders, layer box's and even a Chook Swing set.

The Pippi flock wasted no time putting it to work. 😂🐔

Huge Success and will now be used as my central feed station for our free range flock ❤️

Righto, that's it, after being called an "absolute legend of FarmFest 2026" by Austral Ag, I'm not sure my head is going to fit through the coop door anymore. 🤣💜🐔

A massive thank you to the Austral Ag team for the kind words and for helping me find the perfect purple silo at FarmFest.

I've got her set up and will have her filled by the end of the week!

I might even need to name her .... 🤔 Ideas Welcome!

Pippi picked up one of our 200L Purple Silos and has been sharing her super fun new purple purchase with her chicken groups since (ooof, that was a mouthful!). She came in looking for pink and walked out with purple and honestly, we think she made the right call.

I went to FarmFest for poultry supplies and somehow came home with another chicken... or 3 🤣🐔

A huge thank you to Tara Treasures for these gorgeous handmade felt chickens 😍

What made me love Tara Treasures even more was learning that their beautiful felt creations are handmade by women artisans in Nepal and produced under Fair Trade principles, helping support fair wages, traditional craftsmanship and local communities. 💜🌏

Safe to say a new member has joined the Pippi Poultry team and I have a feeling this little chicken will be popping up in plenty of future adventures.

One of my favourite FarmFest purchases today! 💜🐔

I've been wanting a better way to store feed and make feeding time a little easier around Pippi Poultry.

A huge thank you to Austral Ag for helping me choose the colour... because if you're buying a 200L feed silo, it may as well be purple! 😆

I can't wait to get this set up as the central feed station for the flock 💜
