Pointy Ears dog wash and Grooming is taking a break and will be closed until further notice.

We are super excited to be expecting our first baby in August and have made this heartbreaking decision to stop grooming for now.

Well what a day it ended up being! With an emergency groom in beachport for a gorgeous German shepherd who was full of grass seeds after having a lovely time rolling in them 😅😅

Rocky was absolutely beautiful and so patient throughout every minute thought the 3 hours of pulling out grass seed after grass seed 🌱

Just a friendly reminder It’s important to keep a close eye out for grass seeds, especially amongst the toes, pads, eyes, ears and underarms of your pets 🐶
If a grass seed is left untreated it has the possibility to cause vast variety of problems, from an infection in the area it has entered the body, to surgery to remove the seed.

If you dog has a grass seed causing irritation the most common signs are;
🐾 Swelling of area
🐾 Excessive licking or chewing in area
🐾 Continuous shaking or scratching of ears
🐾 Lameness or limping
