Homemade Greenies Dental Chews for Dogs
Ingredients:
* 1 cup fresh spinach (washed and chopped)
* 1/2 cup parsley leaves (chopped, stems removed)
* 1/4 cup coconut flour
* 1/4 cup plain unsweetened yogurt
* 1 tablespoon coconut oil (melted)
* 1 large egg
Supplements (optional):
* 1 teaspoon chlorophyll powder (for fresh breath)
* 1/2 teaspoon ground flaxseed (for digestion and omega-3s)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a food processor, blend spinach and parsley until finely chopped.
3. Add yogurt, coconut oil, egg, and optional supplements. Pulse until well combined.
4. Add coconut flour and blend again until a thick dough forms.
5. Roll dough into small nugget or bone shapes, or press into silicone molds.
6. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until firm to the touch.
7. Let cool completely before serving.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
