Urgently needing to downsize before summer comes.
Have 3 young thoroughbreds coming up for sale earlier than I hoped for.

Harry - 3yo approx 14.3hh-15hh
Lightly handled, has had a roller on and saddle thrown on havent cinched it up.
Very confident and willing to please. First time he saw a jump and popped over it no worries both cross rails and straight. Can brush all over, still a bit cautious with feet. Very very sweet boy.
Just finished a 5 day panacur worming treatment too and will hopefully squeeze him in for another hoof trim before he goes.
Blank canvas ready to progress further, will excel in a jumping or eventing career, very confident.
We currently don’t have a suitable float for horses so we haven’t tried to float him, we did however have him walking on and off the ramp.

Harry is NOT a fan of dogs, if you dream of riding out with your canine companion by your side this is not the horse for you.

Asking $700 just to cover the cost of gelding and hay/feed/worming for him.

Amy took Earl for a spin today, he made sure to look after her.
He’s my good little pony!
Although we did have a bit of a spook and a run earlier when I was riding him outside, the magpies are swooping early and he wasn’t quite a fan of it.

The colts have been healing from gelding the past two weeks and will start to come out and get worked again now.
In the meantime I thought I’d long rein my boy Earl to get him more soft in the mouth and develop some more straightness in his lines whilst I wait for a crupper attachment for our saddle.
Beautiful winters day yesterday for it, a little concerned for summer this year with lack of rainfall!

Little Harry has come a long way in a little under a week.
We can now touch everywhere without kicking or fear and even got a saddle blanket on today.
Dea has been doing some great work with John too! Both the boys have come good in the short time they’ve been here.

Looking to take on clients again part time.
Have availability Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week.
5ft, 50kgs young adult; so perfect to ride the little ponies and bring them back into work, exercise, put miles on ect.
$50 an hour/per ride plus travel fee dependent on the area.
No travel fee within Doreen and Whittlesea.

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted anything on here!
Times got tough due to covid and I went back to part time work. However I got a message a couple of days ago to help out with some float training, so I thought why not and headed over to Doreen to help out this lovely lady and her horse.
He was quite stubborn with loading and inconsistent, he would get on about halfway before he decided he’d rather plant his feet and stay there.
By the end of it we had him getting on consistently with no hesitation and happily standing in there!

Earl had his first proper trots under saddle on Wednesday! Second proper ride on the boy and very impressed. He felt a little tense at the start but eased up well into it.

Whiskey had his first trail two weeks ago and he was such a super star!!
Photo from his second trail last week, which was absolutely miserable! Lots of rain and wind.
We missed out on our trail this week unfortunately, but keen to get him out again. The hills are absolutely fantastic for building the correct muscle to get Standardbreds more comfortable in the canter.

A familiar face is back!
Whiskey who I broke in back in 2019 and sold. His owner bought a house and was unable to have horses anymore, so I brought him back and leased him out, now his back again after his lease where my friends and I will be using him as a spare trail horse.
He’s also had his first outing to P.C on Sunday just gone.
This is the boy who started my business 💖
