This course is designed to help dogs learn how to stay calm, focused, and engaged around real-life distractions using positive reinforcement training only 💛

🐾 Meet Theo! 🐾

Theo can find unfamiliar people and dogs quite challenging, often responding with barking, growling, and hypervigilance when he feels worried or overwhelmed. He is currently receiving fantastic support from a veterinary behaviourist, and together we're helping him build confidence and feel safer in the world around him.

During today's session, we focused on beginning to change Theo's emotional response to triggers from fear and uncertainty to a more positive and relaxed state. We also introduced some foundation skills using the 3 Ds — Distance, Duration, and Distraction — to help improve engagement, confidence, and emotional regulation.

Theo worked incredibly hard and I am so proud of the progress he made.

Behaviour change takes time, patience, and consistency, but every small step forward is a win. I can't wait to watch Theo continue to grow in confidence over the coming months.

Maggie, is a gorgeous 14-week-old Mini Groodle!

Our focus was on setting Maggie up for success by preventing separation anxiety, reducing puppy mouthing behaviours, and introducing mat training using the 3 Ds — Distance, Duration, and Distraction.

Maggie was an absolute superstar and showed great potential throughout the session! 🌟

By building confidence, encouraging independence, and teaching calm behaviours through positive reinforcement, we're helping Maggie develop the skills she needs to become a happy, well-adjusted adult dog.

I can't wait to see her progress over the coming weeks! 🐶💛

Meet Barzy 🐾

Barzy is a gorgeous 4-year-old Labrador who has been struggling with leash reactivity towards other dogs while out on walks. Like many reactive dogs, Barzy’s behaviour is fear-driven, and when dogs get too close — especially behind fences or near houses — he can become overwhelmed, barking, growling, and highly aroused.

We started working on helping Barzy feel calmer, safer, and more confident in the world around him through positive reinforcement, confidence-building exercises, and gradual exposure training.

The best part? His owners are already seeing progress after just one session!

Reactive dogs aren’t “bad” dogs — they are dogs who are struggling emotionally and need guidance, patience, and support. Watching these dogs slowly learn to feel safe again is one of the most rewarding parts of my job

🐾 Meet Vinnie 🐾

This gorgeous 6-month-old Whippet recently started his training journey with me, and I had the absolute pleasure of working with him and his lovely owners 💛

Vinnie was struggling with:
• Difficulty settling and sleeping
• Shadowing/following his owners constantly
• Separation anxiety and being unable to be left alone

During our session we focused on building independence, creating calm behaviours, introducing safe enrichment activities, and teaching Vinnie that it’s okay to relax away from his humans 🐶✨

We introduced:
✔️ Mat training
✔️ Calm independence exercises
✔️ Safe haven/crate value building
✔️ “Find It” enrichment games
✔️ Relaxation and decompression strategies

Puppies aren’t always “naughty” — sometimes they’re simply overtired, overstimulated, or unsure how to switch off. Learning how to relax is a skill, and Vinnie is already making wonderful progress

I can’t wait to continue watching this sweet boy grow in confidence
