This month I’m celebrating my 30th year in the grooming industry. What great timing to be heading to my first overseas competition in Malaysia with Dog Australia National Grooming Team.
Thanks to all those who have shared my journey with me and to my family, my amazing partner Josh, my fantastic children Jord, Ash, Arya and Zavier for their loving support while I’ve attended competitions seminars and workshops.

Working on a couple new breeds at once.
The latest new adventure is the American Cocker, I’m getting ready to perform this groom in Malaysia as the spaniel and setter representative for DA National Grooming Team.
Charlie has been a beautiful model for me, he’s such a sweet young man. I’m loving this new adventure. Congratulations Charlie on your best of breed win at the shows over the weekend.

Had so much fun last Sunday at Pet Show Dog Grooming Competition model dog live comp. Was also lucky enough to pull out a first place, with the incredible talented daughter Ash hot on my heels securing second place in this class.

** The Model Dog Live competition was a lot tougher than it may have looked. The transformations were Amazing! Some of the models were a little tough to stack for photos though :P

Jumping out of my skin with pride and excitement to share the excitement. I have qualified for the Dogs Australia National Grooming Team this opportunity will see me competing overseas this year in team and individual classes.
I would like to say a massive thank you to May Wong and Dogs Australia Canine Grooming for this placement and the organisation of these qualifying comps and making this team possible.
Thanks to my family both at home and work Hair of the Dog Melton for your support and always cheering me on believing in me.
